Children will be encouraged to use their imagination, learn new skills, and get
creative with the objects that are around them. In addition to having a lot of
fun creating with traditional tools, children will also explore ideas for inventing
their own art supplies, using nature as a source. These tools will then be used
to draw, paint, decorate, and craft figures & accessories. Together, we will
discover what nature has to offer from colors and textures, and what can be
recycled and used to make wonderful creations. With some experimentation
and an understanding that fun is fundamental to learning, this workshop will
increase their appreciation for the arts, crafts, and natural landscape.
Participants must currently be in grades 1 to 4.
