SIS 4-Day Easter Camp

We partnered with Prime Youth to run a camp for the children of our teachers during in-service week. The staff did a great job of planning, preparing, and presenting 5 days of activities for students from the ages of 4 to 12. The students were engaged, had fun, developed friendships, and were exhausted at the end of the day. This meant that their parents were able to concentrate on work and preparing for the start of the school year. Working closely with Shane to prepare was great. My two daughters attended a summer day camp hosted by Prime Youth and had a great time. On Day 2, my older daughter got out of bed saying, "Why does camp have to be so fun but start so early?" There were children of many different ages in the group, but the teachers made sure that everyone felt comfortable and able to do the different activities. They planned an assortment of different activities so that the kids were trying something new each day. My daughters especially enjoyed learning to be a DJ and creating their own street art mural. - Rachel (Teacher & Parent)
