Prime Youth's Colombia expeditions combine authentic cultural immersion with meaningful social impact, creating transformative experiences for teenagers and families. Our programs emphasize responsible tourism, environmental consciousness, and genuine community engagement while exploring Colombia's most spectacular regions.

Days 1-2: Bogotá Orientation & Cultural Preparation
Arrival and city exploration with focus on Colombia's environmental initiatives
Workshop: "Understanding Indigenous Worldviews" with local anthropologist
Visit to Gold Museum and Botero Museum (cultural context building)
Spanish language crash course for Amazon interactions
Service Component: Preparation of educational materials for community schools
Days 3-4: Journey to the Amazon & First Immersion
Flight to Leticia, Amazon capital
Boat journey to Mocagua Indigenous Community (Tikuna people)
Traditional welcome ceremony and cultural exchange
Service Learning: Help with sustainable agriculture project (fruit tree planting)
Night sounds of the Amazon experience
Days 5-7: Deep Forest Conservation Work
Scientific data collection with local researchers
Bird and animal counting for conservation databases
Trail maintenance and creation for eco-tourism
Social Impact: Construction/renovation of community center
Traditional fishing and sustainable practices learning
Medicinal plant walk with indigenous healer
Days 8-10: Puerto Nariño - Model of Sustainability
