This itinerary combines language learning with cultural immersion, giving high school students a well-rounded experience of Berlin and the German language with accredited International Baccalaureate teachers .
Day 1: Arrival in Berlin - Morning: Arrive in Berlin and settle into your accommodation. - Afternoon: Orientation and a walking tour to get acquainted with the city.
Day 2: Intensive Language Classes - Morning: Begin with morning German language classes at a language school. - Afternoon: Visit a local museum or historical site to learn about Berlin's history.
Day 3: Language Classes and Cultural Immersion - Morning: Continue with language classes. - Afternoon: Explore the vibrant Kreuzberg district, known for its multicultural atmosphere and street art.
Day 4: Language Classes and Cultural Activities- Morning: More language classes. - Afternoon: Visit the Berlin Wall Memorial and take part in a guided tour.
Day 5: Day Trip to Potsdam - Morning: Excursion to Potsdam to explore its palaces and parks. - Afternoon: Take a stroll through the Sanssouci Park and Gardens.
Day 6: Language Classes and Local Cuisine - Morning: Continue with language classes. - Afternoon: Participate in a cooking class to learn how to prepare traditional German dishes.
Day 7: Language Classes and City Landmarks- Morning: Language classes. - Afternoon: Explore iconic Berlin landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, and the Holocaust Memorial.
Day 8: Language Classes and Farewell - Morning: Last language classes. - Afternoon: Farewell ceremony and free time for shopping or exploring the city independently.
Participants must currently be 14 years and 1 month to 17 years and 9 months old.
