Arrive in one of the world's most mind-bending cities where ancient temples sit next to neon skyscrapers and vending machines sell everything imaginable. Team building activities in Shibuya, navigating the famous scramble crossing together, and setting goals for your football development over the next two weeks.
Experience the legendary Shinkansen bullet train rocketing across Japan at 300 km/h—watch cities blur into rice fields into mountains. Arrive in Tottori Prefecture, and get your first glimpse of where you'll be training.
Day 3: First Training & Sand Dunes
Morning wake-up call for your first professional training session with Gainare Tottori FC coaching staff—expect fun and intensity. Afternoon recovery at Tottori Sand Dunes, Japan's only desert landscape, where you'll sandboard down massive dunes and realize your legs are already exhausted!
Full-day training focused on Japanese football philosophy—technical precision, quick passing, and spatial awareness that'll make your brain work as hard as your body. Evening video analysis session where coaches break down your performance frame-by-frame and you start seeing the game differently.
Morning tactical session learning Japanese pressing systems and positional play that emphasize collective movement over individual heroics. If Gainare has a home game, join local fans in the stands to see J3 League football live and study how the pros execute what you're learning!
Intense morning session on speed, agility, and conditioning that'll test your limits. Afternoon adventure hiking/climbing Mt. Daisen, the highest peak in the region—your tired legs will hate you, but the summit views and team bonding make it worth every step.
High-intensity small-sided games where coaches assess your decision-making under pressure—nowhere to hide when it's 4v4! One-on-one meetings with technical staff who provide personalized development plans and specific skills to work on when you return home.
Put everything you've learned to the test in a competitive match against a strong local youth team—this is where you see if the training stuck. Post-match analysis with coaches who'll highlight your improvements and areas still needing work, just like the professionals get.
Active recovery session and stretching in the morning because your body needs it after six intense days. Travel to nearby Matsue to explore one of Japan's few remaining original castles, learning about samurai culture and the discipline that connects ancient warriors to modern athletes.
Last professional training session—give everything you've got and show how much you've improved in just one week. Afternoon visit to Izumo Taisha, one of Japan's most ancient and sacred Shinto shrines, where you'll learn about spiritual focus and mental preparation that elite Japanese athletes use.
Day 11: Fishing Experience & Team Reflection
Morning traditional Japanese fishing experience on the Sea of Japan—patience, technique, and respect for nature (very different from football but surprisingly similar mindset). Afternoon team reflection session about what you've learned, how you've grown, and goals for continuing development at home.
Journey to Nara, Japan's first permanent capital, where over 1,000 wild deer roam freely and will literally bow to you for food! Explore massive temples including Todai-ji with its giant bronze Buddha, and discuss how ancient Japanese aesthetics of perfection mirror modern football philosophy.
Morning exploration comparing Tottori's rural tranquility with Kansai's urban energy—understanding different aspects of Japanese culture and lifestyle. Prepare and deliver presentations about your biggest football takeaway, cultural lesson learned, and commitment to continued development.
Official graduation ceremony with Gainare Tottori FC staff presenting certificates and final feedback—celebrate how far you've come in two weeks. Farewell dinner with host families, teammates, and coaches, exchanging contact info and promising to stay connected as you continue your football journeys.
Day 15: Bullet Train Home
Early morning Shinkansen back to Tokyo, reminiscing about training sessions, cultural discoveries, and new friendships made. Navigate Narita Airport with your team one last time, heading home with professional training experience, Japanese cultural knowledge, and a completely new level of football understanding.
